Overview
KOKO Caterer is a food truck companion app that allows customers to view the truck's live location, browse the menu, and place orders. This policy explains what data is collected and how it is used.
Data We Collect
- Orders: Your name, ordered items, and optional notes are stored in our Firebase database to process your order.
- Push Notifications Token: If you allow notifications, a device token is stored to notify you when your order is ready.
Location
The app displays the live location of the KOKO food truck. The truck's location is shared by the operator and stored temporarily in Firebase Realtime Database. Your own location is never collected or stored.
Camera
The camera permission is used exclusively by the app administrator to upload menu item photos. Customer users are not asked for camera access.
Firebase
KOKO uses Google Firebase for real-time data (orders, location, menu). Data is stored on Firebase servers in the EU (europe-west1). Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details.
Push Notifications
Notifications are sent via Expo's push notification service to inform you when your order is ready. Your device token is only used for this purpose and is not shared with third parties.
No Advertising or Tracking
KOKO Caterer contains no advertising, no analytics SDKs, and no third-party tracking of any kind.
Children's Privacy
KOKO Caterer does not knowingly collect any data from children under 13.
